Product Description |
The single-meter calibrating device may be divided into two types: the testing type and the production type. For testing-type ones there is a section of 15D long straight tube separately in front and at the back of water meter position, Such devices are suitable for calibration and full-performance test of water meters in waterworks and water meter testing station, The production-type ones offer a rapid and time-saving application and they are often used by water meter manufacturers. Among the products those water meters calibrating device with a bore over 80mm have equipped with changing-over unit, electric control cubicle, electric flow regulator and two-position four-way solenoid. All operation adopts hydraulic or pneumatic control by buttons. In addition, a rectifier and a section of tube each with a length of 10D, 5D in front and at the back of meter position individually are equipped for the production-type ones. Which makes it possible to test large bore water meters on these devices. To relieve user’s expense for the products the worktable of large-bore devices can be made from ordinary steel instead of stainless steel. And the working measure , meter clamp and changing-over unit are still made from stainless steel.( For specifications of product see table 1、2 below) |

Remarks:
1. The working measure with brackets () is of testing-type ones.
2. For testing-type devices the length of the straight tube in front and at the back of meter to be tested is 15 times of D.
3. A glass rotor-type device flow meter is equipped for indication of transient flow.
4. This kind of devices can be used for production test , test after maintenance, weekly test and design test.

To be to be tested is 15 times of D. As for production-type ones the length is 10 times of D in front of the meter to be tested and 5 times of D at the back of meter.

4. All operation adopts electric (DC.24V)/pneumatic control by buttons.
